Recycle A Bicycle: Free Refurbished Bicycles
Recycle a Bicycle Program is a partnership between the City of Meridian’s Solid Waste Advisory Commission and Republic Services. They work together to refurbish recycled bicycles for those in need of a working bike. In April, residents* may request a free bicycle for themselves and family members through the City’s online request form. *While all community members are eligible, Meridian residents are given priority.
In addition, community members can visit the Recycle a Bicycle booth at the Explore Outdoors Bicycle Bonanza to try out and bring home available, free refurbished bikes - while supplies last. To apply visit the Recycle a Bicycle website.
