“A TOUCH OF LANDSCAPE” - New Art Exhibit in Meridian City Hall’s Initial Point Gallery

MERIDIAN, ID – On Tuesday, October 1, Meridian City Hall’s Initial Point Gallery will open its latest art exhibit titled “A Touch of Landscape”, showcasing landscape paintings and organic sculptures by four artists. Initial Point Gallery will hold an Artist Reception for this exhibition on October 1, from 4:30 – 7:00 pm.

The artists include painters Rosellen Hong, Gary McCall and Mary Gardiner, as well as ceramic artist Jill Lawley. This exhibit will highlight the natural world of Idaho and the West, featuring the relationship between mountains, rivers, and meadows. Through their unique styles, they reimagine landscape scenery through abstracted forms and expressionist techniques. The exhibit will remain on display through Friday, November 1, 2024.

Initial Point Gallery is located at 33 E. Broadway Avenue on the third floor of Meridian City Hall in downtown Meridian. The gallery, which is curated by the Meridian Arts Commission, features a rotating series of art exhibits highlighting a variety of local, regional and national artists. It is open weekdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, excluding federal holidays. The gallery and Artist Reception is open to the public and free to attend.
